About CBD

CBD-oil, also called cannabidiol, is a health promoting substance that is found in hemp and the cannabis plants.

Unlike the compound tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) that makes people high, CBD does not make you feel lightheaded, confused, or intoxicated.

However, CBD-oil can act on your central nervous system and help to regulate your mood. The World Health Organization (WHO) states, “In humans, CBD exhibits no effects indicative of any abuse or dependence potential.

To date, there is no evidence of public health related problems associated with the use of pure CBD.” Clinical studies show cannabis oil may help people who suffer from many different chronical diseases.

According to many studies, cannabis oil is good for treating discomfort or illness of all kinds. Sufferers of everything from anxiety, depression and aches to epilepsy and cancer are evangelizing for the CBD molecule. But the largely prohibited status of cannabis has prevented many long-term, academically rigorous studies on most cannabinoids in isolation, leaving these claims mostly uninvestigated until recently. Many do integrate cannabis oil into their health routine to support their cellular  health. CBD is just one of over 80 cannabinoids that are extracted from the plant hemp. Scientists found that these plant compounds have a better effect  when they work together, rather than alone. This means that CBD and all other great compounds will support the body better than just CBD. And how do they provide support to the body? Among the many benefits that our users experience, some of the main ones are:

1.  sense of calm for focus

2. relief from everyday stresses

3. help in recovery from exercise-induced inflammation

4. support for healthy sleep cycles

The Endocannabinoid System

The discovery of the endocannabinoid system significantly advanced the understanding of health and disease and how all in the body is connected. It has big implications for almost every area of medical science and helps to explain how and why CBD and THC are such versatile compounds and why the cannabis plant is such a widely consumed mood-altering plant, despite its illegal status. The endocannabinoid system plays a crucial role in regulating a wide range of physiological processes that affect our everyday experience, our mood, our energy levels, our intestinal health, immune activity, blood pressure, bone density, glucose metabolism, how we experience pain, stress, hunger, and much more. What happens if the endocannabinoid system dont function properly and what are the results of a chronically deficient or overactive endocannabinoid system? In a word, disease.
